    Hydraulic hose crimping is a high-frequency operation in fields such as engineering machinery and automotive repair. A well-designed service vehicle can significantly improve on-site work efficiency and safety. This article shares practical service vehicle design ideas from three aspects: functional layout, structural design, and safety configuration.

    I. Core Functional Layout: Workflow-Focused
    The layout of the service vehicle must conform to the complete work flow of "hose retrieval - cutting - adhesive stripping - crimping - cleaning" to avoid chaotic operation.
    Tool Zoning: Secure core tools such as hydraulic crimping machines, adhesive strippers, and hose cutters in easily accessible locations. Use drawers to separate different specifications of connectors and sealing rings to prevent parts from being scattered or lost.     Power and Operation Area: An electric hydraulic pump or pneumatic pump is placed at the bottom of the vehicle to reduce center of gravity shift. A foldable operating platform is designed, providing a stable surface for crimping operations when unfolded, and saving transport space when folded.
    II. Structural Design: Balancing Portability and Durability The service vehicle needs to adapt to complex environments such as construction sites and workshops. The structural design must balance portability and load-bearing capacity.
    Lightweight Body: A high-strength aluminum alloy or carbon steel square tube welded frame ensures load-bearing capacity (recommended ≥300kg) while controlling the overall weight, facilitating single-person pushing or loading for transport. Four-inch swivel casters are installed at the bottom, two of which are equipped with brakes to ensure vehicle stability during operation.

    Safety Protection: A transparent protective baffle is installed in the crimping operation area to prevent metal shavings from flying during crimping; the power unit is equipped with an overload protection valve to prevent damage from overpressure; safety operation signs are affixed to the sides of the vehicle body to remind users of standardized operating procedures.
    Convenient Auxiliary Functions: Integrated LED work lights illuminate dimly lit working environments; a retractable hanging rod is designed to suspend hoses or tools to be processed; a power interface is provided on the side for easy connection of power tools or charging equipment.
    Identification and Maintenance: Equipment operating procedures and common troubleshooting methods are clearly marked on the vehicle body, and a maintenance record card slot is designed to facilitate the recording of maintenance time and repair status, extending the equipment's lifespan.
    IV. Design Optimization Suggestions
    In practical applications, the design can be fine-tuned according to the work scenario: for outdoor emergency repair scenarios, a portable battery pack and a folding sunshade can be added; for fixed workshop operations, the number of tool drawers and waste collection boxes can be expanded. The core principle is to ensure that every function serves efficient and safe crimping operations, making the service vehicle a "mobile workstation" for on-site repairs.
